HeartCert CPR Training trains heroes every day. Owner Tim Smith, a former firefighter and EMT, saw the need for CPR and First Aid training for the masses. HeartCert aims to train as many people as they can, and provide affordable, quality training. They began as a Twin Cities-only business but have since expanded to multiple cities across Minnesota and Wisconsin, with future plans to expand to other states. HeartCert needed both a new website and a comprehensive new marketing plan to help him expand into new areas. When we started their program, they were a clean slate with no website and minimal marketing efforts.

With HeartCert’s expansion plans, we knew they needed a multi-site system within their main website. When a visitor views the site from another location, say Mankato, the site adapts to their location to show them classes only in that location. The new website also streamlines the sign up process and adds multiple calls to action to funnel visitors into the registration software. The website uses MySQL as the database behind the site and can handle up to100 simultaneous users (100 people clicking on the same exact link at the same exact millisecond).
